Communications Manager
Ian is a media professional from Ireland with ten years experience in public relations and journalism. For the last three years he has worked as Communication Manager for the Irish Environmental Network (IEN). The IEN, an EEB member, is a coalition of 33 national environmental NGOs in Ireland. His work there involved managing external communications, media training, and advocacy. He previously worked as a news editor and journalist with an Irish daily newspaper for over seven years. At the Irish Daily Mail he worked as Night News Editor as well as Forward Planner for the title and before that as a Senior Journalist covering the environmental, business and public affairs brief. He has an MA in Journalism from Dublin City University and a BA in Philosophy from Trinity College Dublin.

Senior Communications Officer - Waste
Jack manages communications for the Make Resources Count campaign. He joined EEB in 2013 from Greenpeace, having previously held similar posts in leading UK private, public and NGO sector organisations. He is a qualified senior journalist with four years experience in the UK print media. A typical Brit, he only speaks English.

Communications Officer - Nature and Agriculture
Emily is responsible for communications on nature protection and agriculture. She previously worked as a press officer for the European United Left/Nordic Green Left (GUE/NGL) group in the European Parliament. She holds a First Class Honours degree in Journalism from Glasgow Caledonian University. She speaks English and French.

Communications Officer - Industrial Production

Anton is responsible for communications on industrial production and emissions. He previously worked as Actions and Network Officer at the Union of European Federalists and before that for various charity projects in Austria. He holds degrees from the University of Durham and University of London. Anton speaks English, Dutch and German.

Communications Officer - Circular Economy

Mauro is responsible for communications on the circular economy, energy efficiency and resource sustainability. He previously worked at Green Budget Europe as a Communications Officer, and in the press office of Moody’s Investors Service in London as a Communications Associate. He speaks English, Italian and a little bit of Spanish.

Digital Communications Assistant

Kristina is responsible for EEB’s social media and newsletters. She previously carried out a communications traineeship at the Cabinet of the European Commissioner for Health and Food Safety, and worked with a landscape approach team at the Center for Development Innovation in Wageningen, the Netherlands. She holds degrees in ecology and nature conservation policy from the University of Edinburgh and Wageningen University. Kristina speaks English and Lithuanian.

Membership and Development Manager

Emma oversees the EEB membership, welcomes new members and guides them through the application process and supports the organisation of Board meetings and the Annual General Assembly. She is also working on organizational development in the areas of membership engagement, fundraising and accountability. She previously worked for several European networks in the cultural sector. She is Swedish and speaks English, French, Dutch, Italian and a bit of Spanish.
