Green Public Procurement
What is the EEB doing?
The Commission is developing (voluntary) Green Public Procurement criteria. The involvement of the EEB in this process started in 2009 and aims to challenge the ambition level of the criteria (i.e. ensure that “Green” does not remain an empty phrase).
Furthermore we ensure that the voice of NGOs is heard in the process of criteria development which currently lacks transparency.
