Nanotechnology
What is the EEB doing?
The ongoing political disputes at European level illustrate how current governance structures are not suited to ensuring the sustainable production, use and development of nanotechnologies.
Since 2006, the EEB has been actively involved in various public dialogues about the future and direction of nanotechnologies application. Through this process we aim to ensure the responsible development and sustainable governance and use of nanotechnologies.
The EEB also enables its member groups to work in the field of nanotechnologies through a series of capacity building events and publications.
