Nanotechnology
EEB policy work
At present the EEB is working closely on specific EU legislation covering nanomaterials such as the Novel Food Regulation, the Food Information to Consumers Regulation and REACH.
We also contribute to broader public debates within different directorates of the EC, such as DG SANCO’s Safety for Success Dialogue and the Commission's Action Plan on Nanotechnologies and Nanomaterials.
Internationally, the EEB is active through representation at the OECD Working Party on Nanomaterials.
