OECD

The Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) can play a major role in developing the necessary policies to change unsustainable production and consumption patterns in its member countries.

It can also assist less developed countries in choosing and maintaining a sustainable development path.

However, the EEB is concerned that there is still no full integration of environmental concerns in all OECD working areas. In particular when it comes to assessment of countries' economic health and investment.
