Stagiaires are accepted under the following conditions :
• Appropriate environmental studies/skills/qualifications
• Good English – spoken and written – any other language welcome
• Sorry, but no financial compensation from the EEB – no room in our tight budget
• Minimum 3 months – given that it takes time to get involved
The EEB offers :
• Professional and international working environment
• Work in an international team of staff members and 3-4 stagiaires
• Supervision by EEB staff members
• Experience with the EU institutions in Brussels
• Experience with working in the largest environmental citizens organisation in Europe
• Facilities : computers, telecommunications, internet, library, network
• A contract
The main issues are :
• Water – EU policy – Implementation of the Water Framework Directive
• Waste – EU policy – Assisting in covering all EEB waste activities and organising events
• Agriculture - EU policy – Co-ordination of EEB members activities
• Chemicals – EU Policy – Chemicals Policy Reform (REACH)
• Clean Air – EU Policy – Co-ordination of EEB members activities
• Ecological Product Policy -EU Policy - Assisting in covering all EEB activities on EPP and organising events
